E-Commerce Manager

Job description We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and analytical Ecommerce Management Associate to join our team. This role is central to our online operations, responsible for managing product listings, planning inventory, analyzing sales data, and handling marketplace claims. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, proficient in Advanced Excel, and has hands-on experience managing operations on various e-commerce portals. Key Responsibilities Product Cataloging: Manage the end-to-end product listing process across all e-commerce portals. This includes creating and maintaining catalogs, uploading creative product images, and writing compelling, SEO-friendly product descriptions. Inventory Management: Monitor, plan, and manage inventory levels across multiple platforms to ensure stock availability, prevent stock-outs, and optimize turnover. Claims and Reconciliation: Proactively manage marketplace operations, including filing and tracking claims for refunds related to wrong products, returns, and other discrepancies. Reporting and Analysis: Generate and maintain daily reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), including sales, returns, and inventory. Prepare regular Management Information System (MIS) reports to support business decisions. Data Management: Utilize Advanced Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) to manage, analyze, and manipulate large sets of sales and inventory data. Qualifications and Skills Must-Haves (Required): Proven experience in e-commerce cataloging on various marketplace portals (e.g., Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, etc.). Strong understanding and hands-on experience with inventory management and planning. Demonstrable experience in handling and claiming refunds/disputes from marketplaces. Ability to generate and manage daily reports (Sales, Returns, MIS). Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and other data analysis functions. Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Good-to-Haves (Preferred): Basic to intermediate image editing skills using software like Adobe Photoshop or CorelDRAW. Familiarity with e-commerce analytics and SEO best practices.
