Demand & Supply Planning Executive

Job description Role & responsibilities Collect and analyze internal data on factors influencing product demand. Review historical sales trends and inventory movements to develop accurate demand forecasts. Model sales and stock data to project short-term and long-term demand across product categories. Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to understand promotional plans, market trends, and forecast drivers. Monitor external factors such as vendor performance, distribution timelines, and production delays that could impact demand and supply. Provide inputs to Supply Planning for inventory strategycovering existing products, new launches, and phase-outs. Collaborate with procurement and production teams to align manufacturing schedules with forecast requirements. Analyze forecast accuracy, identify variances, and continuously refine forecasting methodologies. Prepare periodic demand reports and dashboards for management review. Support implementation and improvement of planning tools, systems, and processes. Preferred candidate profile We are looking for an analytical & detail-oriented Demand & Supply Planning Executive to manage forecasting, inventory optimization, and coordination between cross-functional teams. The role involves analyzing sales and stock data, developing demand forecasts, and supporting efficient supply planning to ensure product availability across our pharmaceutical portfolio. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in data analysis, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to translate business insights into actionable supply plans.
